HISTORY OF Pavasal

Pavasal’s origins date back to the end of the 19th century, with the operation of various distilleries of coal tar

from coke ovens and used to pave roads.

In 1943, Compañía Pavimentos de Asfalto y Alquitrán was founded.

In 1996, the corporate name was changed to Pavasal Empresa Constructora S.A.

  • 50s

    – In the fifties, Pavasal was incorporated as a public limited liability company and expanded its lines of business, entering the civil infrastructure construction market.

  • 60s

    – At the end of the sixties, Pavasal focused its activity mainly in the Autonomous Region of Valencia and neighbouring provinces and consolidated its position as a benchmark company in the construction of motorways, roads and urban thoroughfares.

  • 70s

    – Expansion of its activity in Public Works. Tender and execution of hydraulic works, large infrastructures and road preservation.

  • PRESENT DAY

    – From the eighties to date, Pavasal’s activity comprises the construction and maintenance of all manner of civil and industrial infrastructures, whether public or private, large construction projects or small preservation projects.
