SUBIDIES FROM THE VALENCIAN INNOVATION AGENCY TO THREE PAVASAL PROJECTS

The Valencian Innovation Agency (AVI) has awarded Pavasal subsidies for three projects to strengthen and develop the Valencian Innovation System to improve the productive model.

One project has been subsidised in the program of Strategic Projects in Cooperation:

NEUROVIAS Project: “MONITORING AND MANAGEMENT OF PREDICTIVE MAINTENANCE OF INTERURBAN ROADS BY ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE TECHNIQUES.” It consists of monitoring, assessing and prediction of the pavement condition of interurban roads—conventional and multi-lane roads, motorways and highways—and, on the other hand, the optimisation of their pavement maintenance management plan. In this project it is partnered with the Valencia Polytechnic University, CPS Infraestructuras Movilidad y Medio Ambiente, S.L. and Solver Machine Learning, S.L.

Two projects have been subsidised in the Business Value Chain Consolidation Program:

IASF project: “ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE APPLIED IN THE PLANNING, MANUFACTURING AND EXECUTION OF ASPHALT MIXTURES.” The main objective is to totally digitise one of the main production processes within the company: the manufacturing, transport and laying of bituminous mixtures to all projects that the company is operating, which allows improving decision-making. For this, it uses a platform integrating advanced analytics by means of Artificial Intelligence and real-time data display with the development of a technological tool that allows obtaining the best financial and environmental results.

FORT project: “DEVELOPMENT OF MORE RESILIENT BITUMINOUS SURFACES WITH IMPROVED PROPERTIES.” The main objective of the project will be to develop new asphalt mixtures, in order to obtain more resilient construction systems, with improved properties and which are more sustainable over time during their working life. A fundamental part of this research would be focused on obtaining asphalt surfaces that are especially designed for their application in container terminals and ports.

Project co-financed by the European Union through the Operational Programme of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of the Comunitat Valenciana 2014-2020.
