The SIMEPU project has the main aim of designing a low-cost innovative system for the efficient management of urban pavement maintenance.

This novel product will allow automatically monitoring and assessing the pavement pathologies from images, whilst optimising and prioritising maintenance actions under financial, social and environmental conditioning factors.

Project financed by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities – State Research Agency through the Challenges-Collaboration 2017 call (RTC-2017-6148-7) and co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) with the aim of promoting technological development, innovation and high-quality research.
